The Marshall County Health Department will be holding a drive through booster vaccination clinic on 09/27/2021 at the Marshall County Fairgrounds.  This clinic will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm, or until our current supply of Pfizer vaccine is depleted.

Pfizer is the only vaccine currently under FDA Emergency Use Authorization for a booster dose.

The following individuals are eligible or recommended to receive a booster of the Pfizer vaccine:

1.      People 65 years and older and residents in long-term care settings should receive a booster shot of Pfizer Covid vaccine at least six months after their Pfizer primary series;

2.      People 50-64 years old with underlying medical conditions should receive a booster shot from Pfizer at least six months after their Pfizer primary series;

3.      People 18–49 years old with underlying medical conditions may receive a booster shot of Pfizer vaccine at least six months after their Pfizer primary series, depending on their individual assessment of benefits and risks;

4.      People 18-64 who are at increased risk for Covid-19 exposure and transmission because of occupational or institutional setting may receive a booster shot of Pfizer vaccine at least six months after their Pfizer primary series, based on their individual assessment of benefits and risks.

You MUST bring you photo identification and vaccine card with you.  If you do not have these items, you will not be able to receive a booster dose on this date.  Vaccination records will not be looked up while at the clinic.

Entrance to the clinic will be from 12th Street, and follow staff directions and signs to the clinic.  Everyone is reminded to dress appropriately, short sleeve shirt to allow for ease of administering the vaccine.

At this time booster doses will only be provided through drive through clinics and not through our walk in clinics at the health department.  We will be scheduling additional drive through clinics based off of vaccine inventory.
