(THREAT PREPAREDNESS DIRECTOR)

MARSHALL COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT

The Marshall County Health Department is seeking an individual to fill the position of Threat Preparedness Director on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination of the public health response to man-made chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive events as well as large-scale naturally occurring disasters and disease outbreaks. Responsible for training Medical Reserve Corps volunteers, public health staff and the community in disaster response techniques and topics. The Threat Preparedness Director works closely with local EMA’s, community planners and health departments to compose and implement the local deliverables for the annual threat preparedness program.

 

SANITARIAN I, II OR REGISTERED

MARSHALL COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT

The Marshall County Health Department is seeking an individual to fill the position of Sanitarian on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for duties in the environmental health program. Individual will enforce environmental and public health sanitation laws, conducts inspections, investigations, evaluations and education programs in environmental and public health sanitation programs. This position will also collect environmental samples and do follow-up investigation on reported environmental related health crisis. Provides general services in environmental and public health sanitation programs. Public contact and considerable travel are required. Performs related work as required.
